Academics

For comparison, the state reports results from its standardized test, the MCAS. In the 2005 MCAS, Duxbury sophomores performed such that 90% of test-takers scored "proficient" or above in the English Language Arts section of the test, compared to just 65% of the test-takers statewide.

Boys Soccer holds the National Record for consecutive victories, winning 72 straight games between 1981–85

Boys Lacrosse is considered one of the best programs in the country and won a record 99 straight games before being defeated by rival St. John's Prep.
